What Our Customers Say

Since our first meeting, The AVR Lab have been amazing. Their extensive knowledge of the technology available helped us to successfully choose the right headset to support our business requirements.
Working closely with us to understand the nature of our business, they were able to assist in building not only the business proposal, but our customer value proposition.
Using the Navigator 500 complete with TeamViewer xAssist, we’ve been able to diagnose equipment issues effectively and efficiently without lost time flying Service Technician and Engineers to site, instead allowing for those problems to be overcome in real time from head office.
ADAM DODSON

Embracing and leveraging new technology is always an exciting and challenging undertaking. For Matthews the inclusion of the AVR crew into our “team” has been very powerful partnership. It’s enabled critical ongoing and increasing learnings, idea exploration, and most importantly it has contributed heavily to evolving our “roadmap” in pursuit of genuine value creation through the AR hardware and software landscape. One word Teamwork.
ANDY HECKE

In conjunction with The AVR Lab – within one month elapsed time learning, Tenon Clearwood are now up and running with confident use of this technology. The prescriptive approach to commissioning, learning, and deploying the solution has been simplified by the driven and motivated efforts of the AVR Lab team members. Their expertise in the solution is strong. The approach to the hand-holding and learning was structured and organised, with the friendly nature of the team making the journey of a successful outcome a pleasant experience.

Fire And Safety Australia were after a solution to enhance their Telemedicine services in remote areas. When our paramedics are treating mining, construction workers or people in remote communities we often call on external expertise to assist and guide.
After an initial internal trial we are moving to trialing at 2 live client sites within a matter of weeks after receiving the equipment. The AVR Lab have been great in both pre and post sales support enabling a fast take up of the technology and use against our business case.
It is expected that by early 2023 each FSA medical centre and Ambulance will be fitted out with this equipment.”

The RealWear glasses have huge potential for worker feedback and data centralisation in the mining industry. The hands-free, visual nature of the technology is a key interest area of ours.
It has been great to partner with The AVR Lab to get access to this hardware so we can work with UNSW and pilot a few use cases. The AVR Lab was quick to demonstrate the benefits of the glasses and helped us to promptly execute an order so we could begin our project.
We look forward to working with them again in the future.

InvoCare, required a solution for mentoring a student embalmer in one of our regional funeral homes. Through implementation of AVR technology, we have drastically reduced costs and time, of sending qualified embalmers to physically oversee our students’ work, and to comply with their course requirements. This technology has allowed us to educate our student with professional guidance and experience, whilst continuing to provide quality care for our client families.
From the initial inquiry and augmented reality demonstration, through to the implementation of the device, the AVR Lab has been of great support. The team really listened to the specific details of what we required for the very specialised area of our industry, and ensured we had a device that was fit for purpose. Danny and The AVR Lab have continued to assist in further inquiries, as the interest grows to other areas of our business.
We are now looking at including this technology in our Learning and Development planning. By creating mentoring systems to partner new staff with existing subject matter experts, we will continue to ensure the highest level of quality care for our InvoCare families. – Susan Witten, QLD/NNSW Mortuary Manager, InvoCare.

From our first meeting, the AVR Lab were able to support us by understanding what we do at the Industry 4.0 Hub, and providing in-depth knowledge about their product solutions. The initial demonstration gave us a sneak peek at the technology. But it was when we got to the pilot and onboarding steps that we experienced their next level of support. They guided us through their pilot program and onboarding training, ensuring we were clear about our goals and milestones, as well as making full use of the headsets and software packages. I think it was fair to say that we and The AVR Lab team were equally excited to explore more use cases in new sectors.

MACA Ltd required a solution for our training team that would allow them to train our operators in the safest and most efficient way possible, providing separation between our trainers in the field and surface mining equipment.
The solution had to be intuitive and easy to use, able to withstand the mining environment and capable of operating seamlessly across our various network infrastructures. This included the ability to establish communications over a local network for our remote projects, where no internet connection is available in the field.
The pairing of Librestream and RealWear has allowed us to realise this ability, and off the back of this success we expect the use within the organisation to continue to grow.
Guidance and support from The AVR Lab throughout our initial engagement, onboarding, training and deployment has been essential to the project’s success. Their desire to see our project succeed has been evident from the very start.
